He gets more out of the likes of China, Bahrain, Malaysia etc, which is why F1 is going there.
Does anyone know how much Bernie charges the German tracks? |

They are both pretty boring IMO and will be of no loss to me nowadays. Personally I wouldn't be too bothered if they rotated each year and we had a new circuit (even if it was a Tilke track!)

Well the new Hockenheim, despite much criticism has provided us with some good racing. 2004 was a great race, whereas the Nurburgring - well, this years race was pretty good, but I hate the place regardless.
No country, deserves two Grand Prix. So rotating them would be an effective compromise, therefore ceasing year on year payment for the hosting of the event. PAUL |

With so many countries queueing up to host F1 races, the days of a country hosting multiple races should probably be over. Neither of those circuits are especially exciting, although Hockenheim always produces great races, so if they had to choose between one or the other, that's the one I'd keep. It's a shame the A1-Ring is gone, that was perhaps the most exciting circuit of the 3 in terms of the quality of races.

With so many countries wanting GP's nowdays, rotating is the logical answer. Something I have been thinking about, is instead of having to negotiate with the organisers of Magny Cours about debts, wouldn't it be less painful for Bernie to run the French Gp at his own track (Paul Ricard). It would certainly make a better event than the current French GP races.

It's time that one of the German GP's went, and sadly, in this global market, Italy has to drop to one race. I agree that the European round should move around, but only in those countries that do not currently hold a race. There ought to be two or three "floaters" which can be used to take F1 where it hasn't been before, or for a long time. Rob. |
