Any news as to if Gary Eastwood did pull his entry from the series? I noticed he was taking a keen interest in the ELMS race earlier. |

Currently no Porsches, Bentleys, Audis and now the most competitive (and this year only) Ferrari may be on the way out... BGT or Formula Aston Martin?

@TrackspeedGT: Apologies, we did say that dots won't be back. But David wanted the dots so badly he turned down Dietrich Mateschitz kind offer #mrtumble
@TrackspeedGT: The dotty @Porsche 997 will be driven by Mr David Ashburn and Hr @NorbertSiedler David just can't keep away from racing. |

Well, how about that! We all know Salih Yoluc is banned, so VonRyan have replaced him and Hankey. With Gilles Vannelet and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs! What a pairing!

Looks like it will be at least a wet start for the race.
Callum Macleod in the Team Parker car is interesting, he is listed as a bronze driver by the FIA but he had good pace in the car, above other bronze drivers. Maybe a dark horse. |

MacLeod wasn't BFF champ for nothing. He knows what he's doing, and is inexperienced in GTs, making his performance seem even better.
Hoping for an exciting one given the weather. The BRDC F4 race appeared to be chaotic. |

The Ram Racing Mercedes was disqualified from the race for contact with the Phil Keen BMW, silly move but im not sure if disqualification was justified, any other series its a stop & go/drive through. Any reason the British GT stewards are so strict with penalty's?

That pairing sure paid off! Good to see. Should've had Vannelet and Quaife-Hobbs in from the start. |

Certainly shouldn't have had Yoluc in the car!
The BGT stewards have always seemed overzealous giving penalties. Black flags should be reserved for only the most serious offences, not some minor scuffle. That and the pit stop success penalties are the only stupid aspects of an otherwise amazing series. |

Well the Mercedes took out a car which was a lap ahead - I don't blame the stewards for being strict after some of the driving standards in recent years!

I saw that as a racing incident - Johnson had spun and had pulled forward by a small amount as if getting ready to go again when Eastwood came round Stowe. It's possible that Eastwood may still have hit him, albeit just a slight glancing blow if he hadn't moved from what I saw of the replays.
The Mercedes simply dive-bombed the Demon Tweeks BMW from a long way back and a lap down. |

GT3 cars lapping GT4 around Brands Hatch GP circuit is pretty exciting, some poor driving though.
Have to admit im confused as to why the contact between #48 2 Ginettas went unpunished when Adam Carroll was disqualified from the Rockingham race for the same thing. Safety car came in without turning its lights off, everyone other than Andrew Howard lost alot of time. Last edited by tux; 2 Aug 2015 at 13:12. |

After another safety car this time it was released while a JCB was still trackside Very Pirelli World Challenge this weekend.
Saying that, the on track action has been great. Another big accident for 22GTracing, strange to go off so quickly at Druids but drivers ok! Last edited by tux; 2 Aug 2015 at 14:07. |

Surprised they didn't go SC when the first couple of incidents happened, fortunately the SC came later once all GT4 cars had been lapped.
However it seems the "spend too much time on faces in the pits" disease has infected the TV director here... |

Really enjoyed watching the racing at Brands yesterday, was great seeing the two lead cars close up in the last quarter of the race.
I wasn't in the right place to see any of the incidents, will have to watch the rerun of the TV coverage tonight to see what I missed! |

22GT had front brake failure, fairly minor damage just a mirror and dislodging front wing and collecting a lot of gravel
