OK...I am too tired/drunk/lazy (mostly tired - been doing extreme manual labour for too long today) to have read all the posts since my last login.
Mclaren have the pace barring feck-ups/magical-Ferrari-stuff. The Mclaren boys are presumably on the same strategy giver or take a lap, whereas possibly Ferrari have hedged their bets (as is not unusual for them at Monza). I would not be very surprised to see Massa to run longer than the Macs on a two-stopper, whereas Kimi to run a clear one-stopper (I think they gambled on Kimi being abled to keep ahead of Nick). I fear the Mclarens are just too fast regardless, but, who knows, they may be light (seems unlikely, though). I have plenty of thoughts on all aspects of the grid and F1 in general, but I only have the nergey to cover the essentials. |

If it's tracks that I've driven/ridden on,then I guess that I'll be helping the grass to grow at either Oulton Park,Cadwell Park or Donington Park.
But back to the race! Is it raining yet?!!! (God knows we need rain at this race). Last edited by Marbot; 9 Sep 2007 at 09:38. |

Formula one cars have always looked awesome through there, but you get the impression now that taking them flat isn't a problem as there is so much grip in the current cars . Now when you used to have to edge up to the limit, that motor racing.

Both GP2 races were full of excitement and overtaking, I wonder if the GP will be the same...

I'll be keeping an eye on Tonio Liuzzi today for entertainment's sake - I managed to forget it's his home GP. Half a second off his team mate in qually, let's see if he can catch him!

ITV missed the kick-off in the England Rugby match yesterday, don't expect much.
James Allen has already mentioned Pavarotti in a tenuous intro - topic and dire. Better than just dire, I guess. |

Yeah, I have just finished wiping away the tears over that intro.
They missed the kick-off? Heck. Are we to expect an ad break halfway round the warm-up lap then? |

Hamilton didn't gain anything at the first corner, he was already ahead of Massa.
DC lucky there. |

I think so..he only manage to keep his 2nd by cutting the chicane. Did DC hit someone earlier prior to his wing breaking?

Massa hit Lewis, so that's why he cut the 2nd corner.

Hmm on replay..Lewis got a touch by not giving Massa sufficient space. Racing stuff...don't think anything will come out from it.
