Firstly let me say how much I enjoy the forum's it is the only place I frequent often.
But the one thing that niggles me is why do you only get 5 mins to edit your posts why not 10 or 30 By the time you notice something you want to edit and by the time the page has loaded especially us with 56k or the few with 28k modems 5 mins has come and gone. Just wondering |

Hi Billy,
We set a time limit on the editing process as, in the past, a user has posted something inflamatory and, after they received a heated responses, edited their post to make it look like it was the user replying to their post who was starting the fuss. I'll agree that maybe 5 minutes is not ideal though - i'll increases the time to 10 minutes. Hope this helps. Craig. |
