Cochrane 2 Hewson 0 Dane 0??
It appears the heat in the cake kitchen may have been a little to hot for some??
Apparently Mr Hewson stormed out of TEGA yeterday afternoon and quit! |

No - he was trying to explain the break up of payments made to the entrants though. The icing on the cake was when the entrants were referred to as 'fruit cakes'.

This sounds like a clever move by the TEGA titans. Again.
For all the TC supporters on that board, and in the ownership circle, will they see Mr Cochrane staying on the board of the soon-to-be-merged TEGA/VESA operation on behalf of S&EL? |

I cannot see how Mr Cochrane would see a board position as tenable... having been a law unto himself as Chairman of AVESCO/VESA.. to then be accountable to a reasonably large and disparate board.... might make operating in the "TC Way" a very difficult process in the future
Presuming the TEGA members actually sign off on their "Cessna" agreement |

Dunno about the cake. Of more recent times I wonder if Mr Hewson made a suggestion that the formula convert to Turbo deisel running bio fuel and got a knock back?

All this talk about cake is making me hungry......
Wouldn't surprise me if TC is making his last moments at the top painful for all those involved. |

It amazes me that the teams haven't realised that The Artist is completely disposable and the current financial agreement which has him receiving an exhorbitant share of what is their income is a rip off.The same is happening with the F1 teams and Ecclestone but here the franchise holders have the power to fix the situation. The Artist will fight any attempt to put his payments in line with the marketing services he provides rather than his current share of their total income. That some of the teams have become so believing of the hype he sprouts reflects poorly on their business sense.

Hmmmm but looked what happened to the Concorde - no disrepect to anyone affected by it but one crash and pffft it's gone.
Maybe the V8's could have the Blackhawk agreement - it always comes crashing down, picks itself up but it's owners refuse to admit there is a problem with it despite the obvious cracks in its existence. |

Sounds like a Collins Class to me, or maybe the Government supporter of the Collins Class - let me think?

Confirmed in eMN today...
The article/opinion also suggested Dr John misread the 'room' in trying to initiate change.... ... which says to me that the change needed to happen but as usual, the TEGA titan machine ate his homework.... Who will be the next to drink from the poisoned chalice? There is one bloke capable of it... who may also get Holden and Ford support.... if they can lure him back to motorsport.... |

With Hewson finally out of the door, hopefully the category can get some momentum and get back to what it was several years ago, instead of some politically correct caricature of itself.

Are Mr Oakley and Mr Cook still part of the picture, or are they for the pack as well? |
