well that seems interesting hopefully if he did make the move after bikes it turnsout more like John Surtees career on both 2 and 4 wheels and not like "Captian Chaos" Wayne Garders atempt at 4 wheels, maybe he could be HRT's next big recruit for the enduro's.

Yeah, maybe he'll turn out like Damon Hill and race cars that are just a little bit quicker than Touring Sports Sedans.

Jeff Leisk tried to get in but didn't get very far. Darryl Beattie talked it up but no one was interested.......

Mat Mladin & Chad Reed have talked about it, but as with them i'll believe Stoner when i see it.

Having said that no reason to think he won't be successful. Plenty of bikers have done it and done it well, Cecotto, Hansford, Surtees & Hill as mentioned.

A Bathurst podium at his first 'proper' attempt, a Bathurst pole, struggling for years on a shoe-string budget.....oh and a Toyota factory driver in Japanese GT's for 6 odd years....yep pretty poor

Wayne was pretty good for a while - won ATCC rounds, led Bathurst.

i remember i remember alot from when i was 5 especially racing, while Wayne had some good resaults he also had a few shockers.
