TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Wincup stays at T8 till 09

Jamie Wincup sign a contract to stay with T8 till the end of 2009. Well Done Jamie.

Seems Roland & Campbell were impressed with Jamie driving and attitude through season 07.

So with both CL & JW tied up with T8 till the end of 09 they seemed to be a formiable pairing for the next two years.

When will CL decide he has had enough of his teammate stealing the limelight (ala HRT) and drift away somewhere else?

3AW cant be wrong!

Craig did not leave HRT because he was jealous of Skaife, he left because his financial outcome was lower than Skaife's despite his winning potential being higher.
That's the encapsulated version. There is a lot more to it but that might not be for here.

There was also a little subject called a peice of the merchandise sales, to which Holden would give him none.

Sweet Corn; you are absolutely right !!!,great year for Jamie, 10th/06,2nd /07 not a bad 'batting rate'I've known Jamies family for years, worked with his uncle Graeme on his 'Monza' sports sedan program (oh !!soooo many years ago !!) quality people quality values,Jamie might be looking good, but trust when I say he is paying his way,not like some off the 'spoilt brates' that show up in motor sport in general,(Quote; I want him/her to have the things I couldnt have !!) Jamie has been taught good values, the right and he's probably picked up the odd wrong, but he does know the difference, and prepared to put his hand up,'08 he can be his own man...watch these taillights !!!.....to Battle !!

Any chance he might keep his hand in over the break in a sprint car?

Wood-duck should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
There were a few raised eyebrows when Mr Dane picked Whinky up at the end of 2005 to replace Cellery... considering the other available talents sniffing around the paddock. It was a chance Mr Dane took, and one has to admire his spotting, as he said at the time Jamie was "the next Craig Lowndes".. This year he was certainly more than a match for Craig, and off the track seems to work a similar beat to Craig - rarely spits the dummy, puts his hand up for mistakes, and smiles even when he shouldnt. All round a polished operator that punched above his experience weight this year.

No small surprise that Triple 8 was quick to re-negoitate his deal....

It is rare in the business that a team breaks contract to draw up a new (more expensive) one before it is due to lapse.. just goes to show how high an esteem Jamie is held in up at Triple 8.
