I think signing Latvala to the works Ford team was a sensible move - there aren't a great deal of alternatives out there at the moment that would do a better job (not that aren't already commited for next year). Does anyone think that Marcus will make any appearances next year? It was suggested at one point that he may make selected outings - likely or not do you think?

The Suzuki line up seems fairly sensible - take a relatively experienced driver and one of their Junior team. It'll be good to see PG Andersson finally make the step up to full time WRC after doing well in the JWRC for quite a while now. Gardemeister looked good in the limited outings he had this year so hopefully between them they'll be able to get some good results. A lot will depend on the development of the car and reliability, hopefully 'monster' can get on top of that and make things interesting for us next year.

I think it's good to see PG finally move up. I thought the whole JWRC/PWRC worked as a ladder system but with all the manufacters leaving a couple of years ago there was no new talent coming into the WRC. A two time JWRC champion deserves to move up.

OMV KRONOS Citroen World Rally Team
Following the departure of main sponsor OMV, odds are that the Kronos Racing team will not participate in the 2008 WRC season. Marc Van Dalen's outfit will most probably concentrate on the Intercontinental Rally Challenge where, in cooperation with BFGoodrich, it will be employing the services of several drivers within the BFGoodrich Drivers Team programme. Also no surprise to ehar that Pons has lost a full tiem drive with Subaru next year, this guy is utterly hopeless and also has a really nasty attitude inside the car.
And he crashes a lot, and got no results!! lol

Motorsport News has PG Andersson in at Suzuki for the first two events only as a definite and then 'probable' after that. Also Companc may only do selected events with other drivers in the car throughout the year.
