Ferrari 430 GT

I'm trying to put together a pretty extensive chassis registry for the Ferrari 430 GT and I was wondering if anyone had a list of who owned which chassis? I've been able to identify about 30 of the I think 45-50 cars built so far, but there are a bunch more I haven't been able to find.

Are we talking just 430gtc GT2 here or all three types of 430 racecar
(430 challenge, 430 GT3 and the GT2 spec 430)
If there's more then 40-50 430GTC GT2 cars out there, thats a lot, makes you wonder where they all are..

Yea, I'm talking just the GT2 cars. I know there were at least 41 cars built in 2007, and I'm sure they've probably already built 10-20 2008 cars.

I just tried to updated my first post with everything I've identified so far, but it took me longer than 10 minutes to edit the post and wouldn't let me and I really don't want to type it all out again...

But to give you an idea, JMB and Risi Competizione have each owned 4 cars, Scuderia Ecosse owned 3 last year, AF Corse has had 4 as well, so they seem to replace them rather quickly.

Can you cut and paste the list if possible?
Sounds interesting. I have seen a list somewhere but I cannot remember where it was.

2400
2402 - GPC Sport
2404
2406 - Risi Competizione
2408 - Virgo Motorsport
2410 - GPC Sport/Team Icer Brakes
2412 - Scuderia Villorba
2414 - Edil Cris Racing Team
2416 -
2418 - Scuderia Ecosse
2420 - Scuderia Ecosse
2422 - AF Corse
2424 - JMB Racing
2426 - AF Corse
2428
2430
2432
2434 - ASM Team
2436
2438 - Risi Comptizione
2440
2442
2444
2446
2448
2450 - JMB Racing
2452 - Ice Pol Racing Team
2454 - GPC Sport
2456 - Risi Competizione
2458 - Petersen/White Lightning Motorsports
2460 - Corsa Motorsports
2462 - AF Corse
2464 - AF Corse
2466 - JMB Racing
2468 - Scuderia Ecosse
2470
2472
2474
2476
2478 - Edil Cris Racing Team
2480 - JMB Racing
2482 - Advanced Engineering
2600
2602
2604
2606 - Risi Competizione
2608 - Tafel Racing
2610 - Tafel Racing

And then here's a list of cars that I know of, but haven't been able to put a chassis number to, or are 2008 cars that haven't raced yet:

2 x CR Scuderia (I think these are 2602 and 2604, but not sure)
2 x RSV Motorsport
2 x Scuderia Playteam
2 more Advanced Engineering (But these might be rebadged AF Corse cars, not sre though)
1 x Farnbacher Racing
1 x Easy Race Racing Team
1 x Durango Racing
1 x Team Kurosawa
1 x Roger Racing
1 x Automobil Club D'Andorra

And I'm predicting that the 2 cars ending in 00 are the Ferrari development cars, but I don't know for sure.

2436: RSV Motorsport
2442: Racing Team Edil Cris
2476: Easy Race

I hope this helps.

Awesome, that puts me at 35 cars identified. Do you have any idea what number the 2nd Scuderia Playteam car is?

This will be more of a hindrance than a help, but I thought of a couple of cars that you may not have been thinking of. I know Edil Cris has at least 3 chassis, they all contested the Italian GT final.

Don't forget the Serra chassis from Brazil either, that ran in the LMS final. I'm pretty sure that is their car rather than JMB's.

I think Corsa Motorsports is getting a 2008 chassis if they have not already.

I can probably dig up some other problems for you to find solutions for given time!

I see that the Serra car is considered JMB in your list. Chassis 2442 is the 3rd Edil Cris car I mentioned.

Were the two Mastercar Ferraris at Daytona this year GT2 or GT3-spec cars?

GT3-spec, actually more like Challenge cars upgraded rather than Kessel-built GT3s.

I have an inkling that 2602 and 2604 are the 2 CR Scuderia cars, but I'm not sure.

How sure are you of 2446 being an AF Corse car? Was it a spare car that was never used or something? I think I've accounted for all the cars they raced with and never found anything about 2446? Also, what series did Kessel, Falcon, and Italian Motors race last year? I'd think that Team Kawamura and the 2nd Scuderia Playteam would have to be either 2470, 72, or 74.

Also, on your list, the Farnbacher Racing one is LMS, not ALMS.

Are there no 00 cars (2400, 2600)??

I'm sure you are right about 2602 and 2604 - I'm just waiting confirmation from my friend in Maranello.
2446 was confirmed as an AF Corse car by the same source.
Kessel's car did not race last year AFAIK, but they are racing it this year in FIA GT. Falcon Racing is Lawrence Stroll, the owner of the Mont Tremblant circuit. His cars are part of a collection and only get occasional outings.
Italian Motors are the Hong Kong Ferrari Distributor - their car was the white one at Le Mans last year (entered under the GPC banner).
If you add V-Line (from Spanish GT) to Kawamura and Playteam, I believe those 3 have 2470, 72 and 74 - I'm just not sure who owns which !
I'm working on it..
You quite right with where Farnbacher race their car - my Goof
There are no 00 cars.....

Also, I saw Advanced Engineering run 3 cars at some races last year, and I'm under the impression that they have 2482 and then they're running 2 of the older AF Corse cars. 2 of 2422, 2426, or 2446 would seem to be the likely culprits. Know anything here?

I also remember seeing one run by a team called Durango and also MenX. Know anything about those?

Will Kessel be racing their 07 spec car this year or will they have a new 08?
