GTC-TC Rennen in Dijon Prenois cancelled.

“Cancellation of GTC-TC race in Dijon“ announced the GTC-TC website this Tuesday. The organizer added: “Dear GTC-TC participant, as already announced in our last newsletter, unfortunately I had to cancel our GTC-TC race in Dijon due to the fact that we didn't receive the minimum amount of participants (at least 25). The organiser is now offering our participants the possibility to start in Dijon Prenois - there will be a GT and Touring Cars race for cars built up to 1976 and a 3-hour-race where GTP and Two-Seater Racing Cars can also participate.

The programme will now consist of the following series: F2, F3 Classic, Formula Junior, Trophee Ford Kent, Trophee Saloon Cars, Maxi 1000, Yankee Series and FISC EuroTour.

That's a good idea. The Trophees Historiques de Bourgogne, probably is one of the most convivial events of its kind.

Great marshalling and the stewards are very helpful. As a ' thank you' for a spirited race, the organizer offered the FISC EuroTout grid a drink right after our 3rd race of the weekend in their VIP lounge. Don't see that happening elsewhere!

BTW a good excuse to buy some good Burgundy wines on your way home with the party season arriving shortly after.
