Col_Rugby should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
750MC, Silverstone 23rd & 24th August

Seeing as there has not been a thread about it yet, thought I'd start one.

Grid sizes & entries are looking good, see http://www.750mc.co.uk/images/upload...3%20&%2024.pdf Bikesports & Hot Hatch looking on the low side but the rest of the meeting more than makes up for that IMHO.
67 Stock hatches!!!!
Golf, MR2's & The Stigs favourite SaxMax. Plus plenty of others for what looks like 2 action packed days.

So who else is coming out to play?

I did notice at the 750Mc meeting at Mallory that one of the series (apologies as I can't remember which one) had a notice up saying that they were having a BBQ on the Saturday evening, & marshals etc were all invited. Is this still happening? Reason for asking is that SWMBO & kids are away & I was thinking of camping Saturday evening, possibly Friday if others are.
Is anyone else camping Friday or Saturday evening? I'm presuming we are camping on the runway?

Kindly remove your cranium from your postierior. No I won't be at Silverstone, and I am not down to do any 750 meets untill next year. Probably with 4-10 and not marshalling though.

It now seems that both Kit Cars and Formula Vee are having BBQs and marshals are invited to both.
I guess that will be go the one for an hour then move to the other to ensure that the marshalling force remains large.

Originally the Bike-sports and Hot Hatch were merged but after some requests their races have been split but I think they still practice together.

Rather than de-rail the thread, I'll just say that if you want to know the latest on 4-10 motorsport, you need only look at the website - www.4-10motorsport.co.uk

Nice one Chris!
I've asked to flag so perhaps if Mr H is looking in, he can stick me on your post on Sunday?

I'm there both days, probably flagging but possibly Observing, depending on just how desperate Pete is (and he would have to be!!)

Chances are Mark, that you will not do both as the Observers post are about as far away from the flag posts!

We haven't had our tickets yet, I emailed Peter and he said they were posted last Thursday so he will send some more. Which means (a) ours will have arrived in today's post whilst we're at work or (b) there is something wrong with the post to Hertfordshire

I volunteered through Pam and we dont always get instructions, but I spoke to Peter today and he is going to send me tickets just to be sure.

Havent been brave enough to look at the weather yet, but I do hope its good as my tent now has a whole in it and I dont want to buy a new one! Having said tha it survived the deluge of Saturday night being patched up with waterproof plasters so I think it should be fine!

Looking forward to this one, Trucks at Donny was my last time out and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms! Fingers crossed for decent weather for the BBQ - if it's being doen by the Kit Cars, does that mean we have to help them build it?

My assumption is that the Kits BBQ will offer individual pieces of food which you will have to put together into a meal.
The Formula vee one will not involve the use of hot water but will be done with lots of oil.
