JEB won't release his WHT entry, yet the predictions have started.

And the FFF Kent entry isn't published yet either - I might just post that later tonight, or tomorrow morning. There are some quick guys in it though.

Oh and sharkie, which Daly? One of the two who have entered, or the jovial Midlander who hasn't?

youngoldy has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Noel Carey
Mike Edgar
Noel Dunne
Derek Martin Daly
Graham Carroll
Rory Butcher
David Grady
Neville Smyth
Patrick McKenna
Josh Fisher
Peter Barrable
Rob Barrable

From what I have seen of their pace this year and from previous results, the above of who I expect to see in the final and any of them could be front runners, among others.

My top 3 is:

1. Peter Barrable
2. David Grady
3. Graham Carroll

If it is anything like the wet fest in 06, my money is on Dunne again.

No Matt Rivett ?

Peter Dempsey hasn't quit Star Mazda, Peter will be racing at Laguna, so good luck mate.

Graham Carroll must be favourite? Wet or Dry

I'm planning to be at the Festival but don't actually have any plans other than spectating. What a terrible waste.

Well spotted Diz, I meant C Daly, running with last years winning team. Good call for Edgar if its wet , don't know the guy who won the carnival but surely he must be in the frame and he aint Irish!

I won't spoil it by telling you his name, but he became an honorary Scot in the Carnival Nations Challenge thingy - selected by Mr Sowman I think - because his name started with Mc. I think the other member of the Scots team qualified because he had once drunk a can of McEwans.
He isn't entered in the FFF though.

Oh Diz!
my pulse started racing again, thought I had been predicted as a possible talent.
I will be at the festival but only passing through enroute to climates warmer.

I didn't select the Scottish team at the Carnival - only the English one.

No unfortunately we didn't get the required number of drivers but there will be at least a dozen cars so much better than last year! We also now have a database of 25+ cars and drivers so we hope to achieve a seperate race next year.

Nev I believe Darren Burke was due to drive it but now concerntrating on a budget for 2009 in FFDuratec. I understand PA is building / converting one or some SJ01s so guess one will be out probably in the hands of Mark Davies if not at the festival then the WHT.
