[V8DVS09R02] Fujitsu Series @ Winton

There has been a lot of hype around this event, with racers returning, drivers in single round rented cars etc...

We shall see if stars past and previous show up for this event....

Can Mr Moffat continue his campaign this year?

Can Mr Russell do well on a circuit that does not reward overdriving?

So I gather that is chassis BM003? While you are here, do you know the chassis number for the Brett Hobson car. I understand it was the car used by Youlden at the Fujitsu support race at Bathurst in 2008, and it was built up from the shell that was going to be the next WPS racer, before they folded?

The new car built up by WPS in 2007 for Max Wilson was chassis WPS#18, following on the Gibson/OO Motorsport chassis numbering. So this chassis could be WPS#19.

Or Radspeed #1!

I assume it's got the ex Briggs AU bits in it...

I spoke to one of the mechanics working on the Hobson car during the test day in March at Queensland Raceway, and he said that it is not an ex. WPS car, but the last chassis from Beehag and it did not have a chassis number. I understand that it was not a ex. WPS car, as it was never raced by WPS, but I think we all gather that it was the next chassis in line to become one.

I am asking for the chassis number as I believe that with every logbook for a chassis, it needs to be identified somehow. The mechanic said that it was a Beehag chassis and was trying to find the actual Beehag chassis number not the chassis number of the team they got the car from. When the car was about ready to go out on the track again, so I left the mechanic to do his business.

I asked Noonz1 as he has an in depth knowledge of the chassis in V8 Supercar land and I thought he would have additional information.
