Even if I'm not picked to marshal (which I think I am following a conversation with Mr Jackson) I'll still be there with my bike; the joys of owning a classic motorcycle!

Got a different outfit for this year too, enough years of wearing the uniform!

Haha!

WFMan; I did the Suzi Quatro look at a glam rock fancy dress night in June!
Sorry, not appropiate for GW.

Bryan; would a baseball cap count as keeping my head covered?

See you all at GW, I'll be the one that rocks up to sign-on on my trusty 2 wheeled green machine! Sat & Sun only thanks to my new job!

Got my tickets and instructions today - I'm on Post 6F!

Could do with an extra guest ticket if anyone has one spare.

Well, there will be at least one more than that at Brands, and having had a 'TBNT' letter, I am off to Brands as well.

Has everyone got their tickets? I have some US guests staying with us next weekend and tickets were supposed to be posted to our house, but nothing received for them yet?

How tall are you? If I have got it right, you may need to duck when the planes are flying, as you may well be on the display line!!

On this map - it will be on the southwestern corner of the track, just before it turns and starts heading north.

Yep, was on No Name two years ago as a course marshal, this year flagging so I'd better learn to duck!

Yeah either cyclists or rollerbladers, they both use the track from time to time.

Quick question for those in the know, If I've read my instructions right, then we can enter the paddocks if correctly dressed, correct? Does that privilege extend to our guests as well?

Mum is debating on whether or not to buy a new hat (!)

If correctly dressed, yes (put whites over yer probies). Not sure about guests. They will need a paddock pass. You should get one, possibly two in your pack. If not, get hold of one from another marshal.

Thanks Phil. Didn't get any paddock passes at all [presumably only paddock marshals get them?]. I'll see what's happening with them once I get there. Assuming I can get both parents into the event of course!

GRRC members get paddock passes but I don't know if they get them when they are also marshaling. I think there are a significant number of member-marshals. Ask around on the day. I'm not there for once this year so I can't help. Sorry.
