Predictions Competition - Round 1, Curitiba - RESULTS ADDED
We're nine days from the first race of 2010, hoorah!
The World Touring Car Championship is up, and I'll be your host this season  For the absolutely uninformed, this a competition for all members of Ten-Tenths, new and old, to show their prophetic skills in forecasting the results of each round of the season. Everyone will be awarded points based on the accuracy of their predictions, and at the end of the season, whoever scored the most will win a full year's free subscription to Ten-Tenths. I'm not sure on all the priviledges that entails, I'm sure it's here somewhere (sorry, don't do the marketing ) - but the main bit is all the ads will be gone! I'm sure you'll enjoy that.Most importantly, you will also win the self-satisfaction of beating everyone else on here, and truly showing you have a skill that is debatable in it's further use at best  Anyway. Let's get on with it. Slightly new format of points this year, as we think the old points system rewarded some lucky guesses too much. Points are now awarded thus:

Apologies for the delay. Sheet's up and running, so future updates will come faster.
Congratulations to...me...for scoring the most in that race GroupOfOne & Pato very close, just one point back though. Defending champ Mattt off to a rusty start , with just one point scored for just guessing Muller would make the top three in race one. Jon411, your entry was received after the deadline, leaving me with a bit of a dilemna. However, I've decided to allow your entry anyway - so you keep the 0 points you'd have scored anyway  - you have a lot more faith in the new guys than anyone else did
Feel free to check your scores, I've spot checked a few and think it's all working okay, but there could be first race teething issues. Cheers. |
