Morgan SCC, Mallory, July 25th

Anybody know who's chief marshal for this meeting, as we want to volunteer for it?

Won't be marshalling 'cos Brian is having his first race of the year, but kettle will be on in the caravan for anyone who wants to pop in!

Am I to understand from your comment that you're not running the Safety Car, if there is one, at this meeting.

Thank you for your kind offer of a cup of tea.

No safety car, as the races are only 15mins, so not required this time. Brian gets to play for the first time this year just hope he gets used to not being at the front of the field!!!

I can only echo Brian's comments (you looked to be going well by the way!) - thanks for all your hard work which made me able to have a second race in the Sports vs Saloons. Thanks from all of us at the RAF Motorsports Association

Great day on post 1 . It was amazing how the wheel made it's way in and out of the spectator area !

Also had a great day on Post 1 Some good racing, some very nice and very rapid cars and a great bunch of guys (and girl) to marshal with.

The driver of the Morgan was lucky the wheel only parted company with the car as he crossed the finish line and not when flat out elsewhere on the circuit

Ive never waved a blue flag so much in my life

glad i made the last minute decision to make the trip down as it made up for the rather dull day at Cadwell the day before

Many thanks to all involved in the running and marshalling.

I was in the white D type, that last race was a bit like the M1 this morning yet all but one (mechanical failure) managed to finish.

Thats the second meeting in a row (we were spectating the previous Sunday) where you men in orange had to deal with a car stranded on the inside of the hairpin. I hope it not the start of a new craze !!

Thanks again.

Steve

I also had a good day on Post 1, although that wheel was a bit scary!

How many marshals get to wave the chequered flag on their first day on post?
