Good to see the MRC investing in Sandown's motorsport future

This should stop the "Sandown is closing" rumours for at least a fortnight

Excellent news for Sandown. Now bring back the 500.

Surely its no coincidence that since Martin Whitakers arrival we have seen two circuit 'issues' put to bed with great outcomes.

Its amazing what can happen when you take Shane Howard and the big gremlin away from the negotiating table and more importantly the press.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

It's a circuit I've been to many times and I have enjoyed all visits.

You'd think that any upgrade there would help both motorsport and wider use of the venue (horse racing, functions etc). It's good to see that a permanent facility is getting attention and investment, rather than street circuits. Street circuits which are easy come, easy go...

Well with the international Melbourne Cup horses hopefully going to Werribee (just needs the red tape to be removed), Sandown can be utilised a little more than normal one feels.
