Mattt's New Tracks
Haven't posted a track on here in ages and looking at the fact this part of the forum seems to be slowing down, as Bio eluded too.
I've decided i shall do more on here than just look and admire at the graphics skills of you guys which i can't even dream of matching. So here's my first one, a very fast flowing circuit just with an extra added bit to increase lap length and to add something different to the circuit Any comments etc very welcome. All information about the track is in the top left of the image Black lines are barriers, yellow is gravel, blue is pitlane, purple colour is the paddock |

Speed, technical parts, risky turns - all there. Great one!
Did you imagine any elevation changes on the track or is it plain flat? bio |

I'm a little lost here, how the red and black connects?
Also the hairpin needs to be fixed, it's an obvious safety hazard, otherwise seems a reasonable racing surface. |

Luiggi,
I guess you skipped the color code description As Tathrim poited out, black is the barriers - therefore the "hairpin" is not a hairpin at all bio |

I imagine the red will all be fairly flat similar to Thruxton or Silverstone so its an airfield circuit really. But the middle bit of the green after the fairly tight corner and that straight is gently sloped down to and then back up to the Red bit

I like the overall shape a lot - great how the different sections - tzhe technical and the fast ones - are connected and put in sequence!
One minor point: I've got the feeling that the final shape has been defined a bit too much by the curve tool of Paint... Or not? Anyways, thumbs up for this one. bio |

Well its a mixture of paint and my choice. i will initially go round just making the track using the curve tool but i then go round erasing bits and changing the curves. But its mainly really curvy since there my favourite tracks |

With paint you need to watch the hairpin type corners, it's easy for all the hairpin types corners to look the same. Perhaps try and use a smaller line and aim for a semi circlr rather than a "bullet" shape each time.

To carry on the theme started by Bio and SBF
heres the xmas pudding circuit. Fairly flat 1.5 mile anti-clockwise The blue bit is the edging of the icing on the top that makes the circuit more than just an oval and that bit takes it up to maybe 1.8/2 miles Green are barriers Red is pitlane purple is paddock Did it in a rush so not much detail plus its a wee bit rough around the edges |
