Anyone got ideas for contacts?

I am looking to work with a racing driver and a team this year whilst studying to create some promotional material for them in the form of photography and a short video for their website. Also I would like to gain work experience while I am undertaking my project because when I leave university I wish to work in the industry. My biggest issue is the lack of racing series during the term time October to March and the project has to be handed in at the start of March. Any ideas where the best place to go is to contact team?

Circuit racing season is pretty much over bar one or two events. You need to consider rallying really, or go overseas.

You might find that you can still do something with race teams in this period. No actual racing, but maybe some testing, and of course the cars are being worked on, sponsorship is being sought and promo-activities are probably more frequent.

That's what I'm hoping to find, so then they have fresh material for the upcoming season and can get their promoting underway early. Just finiding teams that don't neccassarily have someone doing that already is proving tough but I'm enjoying exploring all areas of motorsport
