Kumho Slicks
Is anybody on the forum using the Kumho S700 slicks? They list a 13" front, sized at 180/550 13 but their chart says the tread is 237mm wide, therefore fitting a 9" rim! Seems weird. Has anybody got experience of these tyres please?

Steve - all slicks (not just Kumho) are sized differently to road legal tyres, and it also depends on whether or not they're radial or cross-ply. So a 180 will be radial, but won't be 180mm wide as you'd (more or less) expect with a road tyre.
Best advice is probably to talk to the manufacturer/importer and take their advice - or try a Google search on something like 'slick tyre sizing'. Hope that halps! |

180/550R13 is the standard front F3 tyre size, and they use 9" wheels.
