John Baggott is the keeper of history of Spridget racing - he wrote the book - but I don't think he's a member on here...

If she raced a Delta in F4 then she's almost certainly known by Iain Rowley (delta on Ten-Tenths). I'll ask him. She wasn't doing F4 when I raced in the class in '77-'79.

Iain tells me that Viv West now lives in Portugal with her husband. They went to Portimao last year and said hello to him.

Hi Guy's
thanks for the info so far, yes I know she now lives in Portugal as I do now. The reason for my post was that a friend of mine is writing an article on her for publication in one of the local papers here and asked me if I could find some background information on her. It is surprising how many ex racers I have bumped into out here. I think I could start another thread with some of the stories!
