We'll just see who gets the points tomorrow. If it rains, it won't be Montoya... I can tell you that. I have to admit, Montoya's pole was impressive... for an ex-CART guy. I might have to change my mind about him yet.

How many poles does it take to win WDC?.

Don`t forget,i expect you to back up your faith after the race.

What a surprise...the fastest car going fastest,i`m shocked.

I`m getting ready to have a big belly laugh when he dumps it in the nearest armco.

A very predictable response from AGGY, desperately hoping the race tomorrow will go his way so he can show his face around here on the subject of JPM again.

Nothing will change the fact that in tricky wet/dry conditions JPM was the fastest man out there. Maybe he did have the fastest car. But so did Ralf, and he was a country mile slower.

By the way, FIVE ONE TO THE INGERLUND, FIVE ONE TO THE INGERLUND...

...oops, sorry

It's interesting how JPM fans are using this pole as an indication/vindication that they are right...

Yes, he won the pole in a tough track, but somehow it seems to escape them that it was a correct timing and perfect condition (tracking drying out at the DYING seconds) that allows BMW-Williams on slicks to perform their best.

If there were still a couple more mins, I would wager to say that the ending would be a LOT different.

All in all, great effort by the drivers and the team, but it was more of a timing issue than anything.

Can only speak for myself here ttc, and for me it is great to see him up there. He read the track conditions perfectly and went for broke and succeeded. This is what qualifying is all about so why shouldn't his fans be happy. Each driver has 45 mins and 12 laps to do the best he can. We, ( the JPM fans) have put up up with anti JPM posts all year and It doesn't bother me at all, everyone , provided they are intelligent about it is entitled to their views. Why , when we have something to celebrate, does it bother you?

Try not to be a partypooper there ttc, life is too short

Well he did just that the last time he took pole!

Wherever he puts the car tomorrow you know from watching him today that he´s not ´Garbage´. Just admit it . Get it off your chest . You´ll feel much better for it.

I felt that Williams got it right, and JPM took the chance to saty out of quals until the time when the track was at its driest. However, did you notice that MSch was also out there during this time, and so was Ralf, and in fact 17 cars were trundling around trying to take advantage of the drying conditions, including a Mclaren. So Yeah!! JPM got it right, and out ran 17 others who also got it right.

And yes Bononi, I came back here to have a chat with you mate.

I think JPM didn't really think of taking a pole, but after reading AGGY's coments he got so mad, that he had to s*** on someone, and unfortunatelly for the other drivers, they were the first on his way.

P.S. I'm really not a JPM fan
