Steve Park

anybody know how Steve is ???

he had a terrible crash in the busch race and they took nearly half an hour to get him out..I was very worried that his injuries were very serious and in fact thought i was watching another fatality ..thankfully they said he was awake and alert when he went to hospital....so that is excellent news.

but what are the extent of his injuries????

and what a strange crash..his car just turned left with no warning at all ..and poor old Larry Foyt had nowhere to go and just broadsised Park right in the drivers door..what a scary ride for both of them.

it seemed to take forever to get park out of his car and they eneded up cutting the roof off.

get well soon Steve and hope you can come back and win a few.

Lee should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
marcus,

Fortunatly, Steve is going to be alright. He has a mild concussion, and a possible fractured sternum, and will probally not drive tomorrow. He is being held overnight for observation. Kenny Wallace will drive the car if Park does not. That was a scarey accident. From what they can tell, the steering wheel wasn't locked into place, after the restart frome the red flag, caused by rain.

Emfa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Steve was released from hospital on Monday. The report on his injuries was "he suffered a concussion and bruised his collarbone."
There is no word from the team yet as to whether he will drive this weekend.
