Rolling Road (Alternatives to Bob Watson Engineering)?

Hi,

I have an ex Porsche Club 944 which needs a rolling road and ECU adjustment. I was advised recently that Porsche's in Porsche Club tend to use Bob Watson Engineering (to ensure consistent results) and was advised to go there for that reason.

Unfortunately it seems BWE has closed down.

Can anyone recommend an alternative? I live in High Wycombe, Bucks.

Thanks

I would not touch BWE with a sterilised London bus !!!
Terrible service and greedy. Hope they have failed.

You may gather from the above that i was ripped off big time.

Whilst I sympathise, that wasn't exactly helpful Graham.

I agree with you, but i was so elated with them going into liquidation.

Sorry, i don,t know what rolling road to suggest Mac44 should go to in the High Wycombe area.

Rolling Road

Northampton Motorsport is not too far away, I think. Been there twice and very happy with their service and results.

Long Way

Rather a long way from you but I use Ric Wood in Stockport to build my race engines, dyno them and also set them up on his rolling road. VERY knowledgeable guy and builds great engines, just maybe a bit far for you

If it is of any help .....

At last i have discovered a rolling road and operator who have restored my faith, following my dreadfull encounter with Bob Watson and his thankfully now defunct business.

A PHENOMINAL 91.6 bhp increase in power from the same Porsche engine set-up in only half an hour, over what BW could not do in a fortnight !!!!!!!!

Give Rindy Frost a call on 07900 561470 or rindy366@live.co.uk if you are within striking distance of Mendlesham in Suffolk. He operates from the Scholar Engineering site.

As Terry Bower states, Mass racing is one & Aldon Automotive in Brierley Hill is another.
