Thanks for that. I will be there for the weekend for the 4th year running, great meeting at a superb circuit. Been planning this one for ages, bit of stretch for me but well worth it.

I will have to give Cadwell a miss this year, first time in about 8 years.
I'm currently going through Chemotherapy and now have less hair than that Delta lad . I have good days and bad days so better off staying in sunny Norfolk and following things on live timing. Hope every one has a good meeting and sunny weather. |

Iain, Angela is making you a cake as I type this, courier booked for tomorrow,
you should have cake by Wednesday. Try and keep some of it for Cadwell. Hope to catch up at HSCC Snetterton in September, (if you are in the uk) |

...just been to the brewery to pick up the beer Dan. Mind you, tomorrow night there's a BBQ, organised by the Hayes-Harlows and the Irish contingent so whether there'll be any left on Saturday is in the lap of the gods...

Had to pull my entry despite the dual temptations of Iain's tea and Alan's T.E.A. , too far for a day (or night) out See you all at Brands instead

An almost perfect race meeting in terms of car diversity , grid sizes and some great racing , none more so than in FF1600.Perfect weather and UK's best circuit . And the bonus of interviewing Richard Attwood on Le Mans weekend , 47 years after he won in the 917K

Mid June, 200+ cars, perfect weather and Cadwell Park - doesn't come much better
FFord races were excellent, Nelson Rowe drove the wheels off his various steeds as did many others in the scorching heat, great double for Andy Park in FF2000's and some real entertainment from the magnificent eclectic mix of other single seaters in various categories. Many thanks to HSCC and all the marshalls and support crews who must have fried in the heat. |

Cake arrived. Thank you . Coming with me to Spa . We missed you and Angela . As we had five cars in different races we decided to spit the team . It was great for me as I was sent to controls assembled area . Managed to watch loads of racing . Team Delta had a great weekend . Met up with Gary 396 and a few old mates . Can't believe it was ten years ago we had our first Historic FF2000 race . Seven of the original drivers were there . Sadly two have passed away and the others gone on to different things or just retired. Wonder how many there will e in 20 years . Some of us did a track walk Saturday evening Reminsance of how the circuit was back in the 70 's when we first raced there . The youngsters could not believe some of Alan Morgans stories of cars in trees .houses by the side of the track and barns with doors to each left open . Happy days

I bet Alan was not aware of the rarely used (for obvious reasons) two way configuration of the track, as demonstrated here. (You will need to click and enlarge to even begin to see it properly enacted.)
