Quiz 11-Slight Irony
What slight irony befell Keke Rosberg when his 1985 British GP speed record was broken this year at Rockingham?

Oooh thats a tuff 1....
was it the fact that it was a Marlboro car and he used to smoke 'em? or maybe it was driver he used to manage? or did the car that achieved it have a puncture like he did on that crazy lap in '85? I'm trying to think who Rosberg ran or sacked in his German team... or was it something to do with Carl Haas who Keke admits to hating? Nope too tuff for me! |

ok..was it the fact that one Nigel mansell set the speed record for the first time at Rockingham this year ...and Mansell was Keke's team mate back in 1985 at Williams ??????????

yeh Herbert probably went quicker and Im sure the Champ car guys went even quicker when they arrived for the race ..but Mansell was the first driver to set a record at Rockingham ..thats what i meant..but Im not sure if that the answer or not ???

Marcus was right it was indeed that Mansell (Who broke Rosberg's speed record) was the Finn's team-mate at Williams in the year he broke the record!
