I just wish Garry would stop hurting himself. I'd love to see him go a whole season on a good bike without breaking something.

2000 was the only season he hasnt broken anything...2001 he would have been a title contendor if it wernt for the Le Mans accident at round 4, this year he'll probs be back at round 2, maybe enough for a challenge ???

AWWWWWW Man poor Gary , this is terrible news.

the guy is awesome to watch and has a huge following world wide not just at home here in Australia , I just cant believe his bad luck.

I hope he does return for round two and everything is good with his leg and he can show us what he is made of.

Now that is a surprise, this is the first that I have heard of it. Will go directly to Motogp to get some details.

Darn it, I as many many people, was bedazzled by him 2 years ago with his wins and gobbsmacking of everyone with his backing it in. I was very much disappointed by his luck last year, and like you guys, am very sad for him, as it seemed that he might have been a dark horse with the unknowns of the 4 strokes.

C'est la vie as they say, but still, DAMN!

He smashed a lap record (I forget where it was) last week in testing. He looked like he had the Yamaha going well. Does anyone know where it was?

Will he make Suzuka?

If not, who would take his place?

That just about sums it up...He's had so much bad luck.Gary McCoy was on of the first riders to catch my eye when I first started watching bikes.I love his style,he could be trailing at the back and I would still be happy to watch him, agree??

Yep, garry is great to watch and Valentino is a big fan of his style s well. What a bumma for him to start the season this way.Life wasn't meant to be easy but Garry must be wondering what he did in his previous one, the way his luck has been lately.

I read in a Sydney paper that Gary is working with some Austrian fitness guru, and is expected to be ready for Suzuka. The team is so confident that he'll be right that they won't name a replacement.

gary is the pioneer of speedway/motogp. Watching him slither into the braking zones is awesome, imagine what the riders behind think!! He rules. Him and Rossi are brilliant to watch. I hope McCoy is put on the Big Bike if the 500's are outclassed. get well soon Mad McCoy!
