Michael H should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
ETCC - Alfa too good, or will Volvo fight back?

I think that Alfa's ETCC dominanace could come under serious threat this weekend at Silverstone.

Volvo will be much improved, and will be very fast on the Silverstone GP circuit.

Looking at the BMW drivers, my money would have to be on Peter Kox.

The real darkhorse is Rustad. He showed great qualifying speed at Magny-Cours. And he knows Silverstone really well.

It will be a great weekend. Everyone should get out there and see the great action.

Muller and Muller will be a bigger threat than Kox I feel. they tried their hardest to keep the Alfa's behind them in race two but couldn't do it. I think that BMW will be closer to the Alfa's than Volvo. Rydell should mix it with them. Alfa won't be challenged this weekend I fear, unless BMW have found some speed since Magny Cours

Alfa's will win hands down, the long straights of Silverstone suit their cars down to the ground.

ALfa will win by miles. Silverstone's long straights will play into their power advantage.

This weekend i reckon it will be the two Nordauto Alfa's out front, i think Rydell could possibly match it with them as well.

There's a nice Q&A with Rickard Rydell posted at Autosport - you can read it here.

The Alfa are miles ahead.

Giovanardi
Larini +0.2
Rydell +0.5
rest +1.0 or more

Gaps are rounded.
