I'm sure there is a bit of fun to be had with this subject that was brought up in a previous post.
Hospitality packages, I'm sure there are some good ones, but the stories I've heard of people partaking in these rather over glamorised beanos are nothing but disasterous.
Corporate hospitality is another thing altogether as those muthas spend g'zillions on putting there showpieces together to prove to there clients that they have made the right investment in there particular venture ( ie.Audi 2 years ago when they had the equivalent of the Pepsimax ride in their compound, and all us lot could think of was .I want some of that !!!, and the Mercedes press room in '99, how cool was that!!) .
I'm talking about the ones that are put together for us mere plebs.
Give us your best and worst. And name those that need to be named!!!

We used the Airtrack loos and showers in The Houx annexe, does that count? much softy loo paper don't you know.
We also gave a lift back to the village one year to some guys who got left behind by an organsised trip to the straight.

Duuno does the £50 MRI hospitality count - What does your £50 buy you?

Access to there 'Trackside' Marquee (For trackside read "Hidden Behind Viewing Mound") - It it chucks it down and you are not in there tough you are not coming in.

Proper English Loos - Yep 3 or 4 stalls for a the hunderds of people that the 'Largest Le Mans Tour operator' takes to the track

English Food - Overpriced Soggy Bacon rolls that may end up faciliated you never being far from the pervious Item.

Briefing - That would be the briefing where they tell you that the FREE shuttle to the corner compound isn't running but they have a few places on there trip. CerrChing......

And remember folks that if you want a Camping permit from MRI then you have to buy a minimum of 2 Places...

Real Hospitality is inclusive of an Open Bar, Food, Grnteed Shelter if the heavens open, and if possible a true trackside location.

Sorry MRI you don't past muster not even close so keep yer Hostility Marquee there are much better deal available..

I know some which make good hospitality during these years back. I worked for them during the 2 last years and they are nice people and nobody complains.

They are British and I can learn the language functioning for them.

The price is good I am told.

In defence of MRI, I've used them twice (and once more when they were still Chequers). If you can't get to Le Mans any other way, they're still a reasonable option. But don't bank on being at the circuit in time for your briefing - in the three years I went with them ('92, '93 and '98) I missed the briefing twice due to drivers who cleasrly didn't know the way and on the last occasion, a tour guide who might as well not have been on the coach! If you go with MRI, make sure your guide is a gentleman by the name of John Mazur - he knows his stuff.

I went last year with Page and Moy and am booked again for this year. I'd rather camp for the week but don't have the time at the moment. Overall I was quite impressed with them, they even got to the circuit for the historic race at 10am which I sooo wanted to see.

If they could just solve the agonizing back pain of so long in a coach and the deeply unpleasant smell of 50 wet people sleeping in their clothes in close proximity I would be a happy camper. As for hospitality, I'd rather get my bacon buttie from Kpy, if I can fight past the rest of the ten-tenths crew!

We went to Monza with Page & Moy and I thought they did an excellent job.

Airtrack hospitality is so far off the beaten track that it's really not worth the money, IMO.

But these days I just depend on the hospitality of the media centre. Had some excellent lasagna this weekend at Mosport!
