Robert should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Michael has a sore "eye"...

Is it because of what Rubens did with the Austrian GP winner's trophy!

Is a F1 driver really allowed to drive in a highly dangerous sport if he has a bad eye, or is it just a sympathy vote so no one boos him anymore?

Surly he wouldn't be allowed to race, he very well could cause an accident!!!!

He might not see someone commin' to overtake him and drive into the side of their car...............................oh he has allready done that....................twice!!!!!

That's it, it will be his excuse for drivin' into Monty's car tomorrow. Just as the Columbian is about to take his pre paid points away

Perhaps Rubens should develop a hearing problem..

Team orders? What team orders??

I will stick my bum out and say that shumi will win. I do not rate JPM on this track and Coultard. well good luck to him.

Sore eye- so that is why scumi is not on pole

Bruised ego, more than likely. I saw just a bit of the post-race press conference and the last time I saw an Oh-Please-Don't-Ask-Me-Anything look like that was before Fisi learned to speak English!

For a while so far this weekend, I truely believed that Michael was doing his best to avoid any "official" (top 3 drivers of the day) FIA press conference... the questions were real tough ones 2 weeks ago.

Michael did seem to have a problem with his eye - I dont think he was making that up. But either way, I dont think he could have found more time from the car. Bridgestones for once were not the tyre for qualifying but the race will be a diffent story. Schumacher is brilliant around Monaco - and he'll be a clear threat tomorrow...especially if its wet.

I see that both ITV and Autosport have taken up the "one in the eye" theme. Just for the record, I think he probably does have something in his eye; he looked as if he did anyway.

Just to be fair.

freud has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Sounds so much like DC while Mika was in Mclarens... every qualifying session DC would get a rough patch on track somewhere, or his gears would get stuck

Seriously though.
It really can't be safe, drivin' a F1 car at great speeds around a street curcuit if you have a problem with one of your eyes.
What if he causes an accident?

did Rubens miss Michael's mouth?!

it is not safe - but as usual, MS will get away with it - unless the prof has something to do with it!

Poor TGF -- now if his head falls off everyone will say "he's just doing that to take our attention off what he did in Austria."

I see he has now changed his story from "I had something in my eye" to "I had gearbox trouble."

Would you believe .... ?
