LMP675 rule changes

I read in Autosport that they want to dumb-down the rules for LMP675, saying that they want to attract amateurs not those gunning for the overall win.... duh! didn't the most amateur car in the race win this class??
btw, i was impressed with just how much noise the ROCs and MGs made from their little motors

eh? this doesnt make sence. first they make the 675 class so privateers would have a chance to win overall with lighter cars, and now they dont want them to have a chance to win overall.

are the rule makers blonde or something? O_o

if anything, they should make 675 turbos up to 2.5 maybe 3ls to help them get through the longer races.

The 675 class should remain as it is right now, as it produces great racing. Why change it?

It just needs a few extra entries and it will be a great stepping stone/ race on its own.

The reason the ACO want's to change rules, is because it has seen what the MG has done to the class and it does not want a 675 car to win the race overall.

yea, correct..

they should have a rule like no factory entries.. just priviteers.. with privite teams, they probably wont be gunning for the overall win even with the mg

So then you'd have "Team CMS" on the entry list instead of MG. Or Team Joest instead of Audi. It wouldn't make a difference.

The ACO is a bunch of children. Incredibly fickle and inconsistent, lacking any sort of vision, and willing to follow anyone who waves a few dollars in front of them.
