Combe 26th August
Having not gone combe this weekend and only seen the results on MST, I take it the FF1600 are still a bit untamed. Did anyone go, can they tell be about it?
PS. Andrew, Superb result. Congratulations!!!! |

Was a great race Richard, and too be fair much tamer and fairer. Some great drives, some great moves, as you can see not many people didn't finish. I'll drop you a mail with full race detail in (or as much as I could see from my position !!)

Yes penelties for smashing up markers, and fines I believe, qualifying was HARD as you can see from my virtual pole (not) very full track with 38 cars on track at once, and they decided to let all the cars out on track at the same time but stagger the cars going onto the track, didn't really work but they where trying to improve things.
Some people in qualifying made a bee line for the markers so I am not sure if the penalties where for taking them out in the race or qualifying however the markers where gone before I got to them on the first lap, so I guess they where as easy a target as they where in qualifying. To be %100 honest though it was GOOD racing, loads of little scraps and as you can see very few fell of the track for good. I'll provide full details in my mail. back to the playstation........ |
