Latest TWS rumours

Racing Engineering
Bas Leinders, Stephane Sarrazin, Tomas Enge and Sebastien Bourdais are in talks with Racing Engineering

Alphonso de Orleans, manager of Racing Engineering, is very keen on having Bas Leinders with his team but said that they're waiting for Leinders' manager to contact them and see if they can agree a deal.

He also mentioned that Stephane Sarrazin was at the team 3x already and that he feels that Stephane wants to work with the team.

Gabord Competicion

Gabord Competicion, which won the title with Ricardo Zonta, is having financial problems and is even said to be bankrupt.

I've heard Racing Engineering has no sponsor for next year.
That would mean Vodafone and RE are in CWS next season.

both gabord and RE will be next year. they are pushing to get improvements from the organization, at advertaisement level in the tracks. and a big resources generation.

sarrazin was for a days driver of gabord in 2002, just before he sign as toyota test driver. it will be a goal in the alfonso de orleans team. sarrazin is a high underrated driver, my point of view.

adrian campos team will have marc gene in his line up next year.
and KTR it appears day after day that could line up a full red bull cars with paul edwards and enrique bernoldi if finally brasilian don't get jordan's drive (that appears very possible because massa and verstappen have more chances today).

in all case, i think we don't see a big number of notices of the series till february, cause the start of the preseason test must wait for the new engines, and this will be 1 of february.

un saludo

Unhappily, this isn't a recent new but Gabord will continue in championship next season.
