Garygman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Jeff Gordon on SNL

He was very good. Its going to be something watching this young man win his 8th cup within the next few years. This guy has it all.

I like the way U think,LOL!!!The skits could have been better, but that's not Jeff's task!He did fine,as usual & the warm-up on Regis & Keely show last Wednesday probably didn't hurt either IMO!Nothing like practice!
Go #24 in 2003!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole SNL program was "unfunny" but Jeff was as good as any of the other performers.

I thought the last skit with Jeff as "Ricky" was LOL funny, but the rest of the show was a yawner. Except for the young girl singing, I think she is exceptional.

SNL has been brutal for the last few years, not Jeff's fault. Though he didn't help much... Luckily they usually air a classic SNL after the new ones on global.

I've heard several posters say that the last skit really saved Jeff on that show & I agree with that assesment!
The singer is Avril Lavigne,She's Canadian & I too think that She really has a fine voice!

I thought the last skit with Jeff as "Ricky" was the only part of the whole show that was funny. After all the years it's been on, SNL is getting to the point where it just ain't funny anymore.

He has to win his 5th, 6th, & 7th first! I think it will take him a tad more than a few years to accomplish that!

Actually it took The King Richard Petty 21 years to get 7 Cups(1959-1979)& Dale Sr. took 16 years(1979-1994)to get 7 Cups!
Using Dale SR's. figures for Jeff to get 7 Cups,He'd have to get 3 more Cups in the next 6 years,to tie 7 Cups in the same amount of time,ie.(1993-2008).In other words,3 more Cups in 6 years or 1 Cup every other year, which equals Jeff's cuurent Title winning ratio,as He's won 4 Cups in the last 8 years now(1995-2002),or a 50.0% ratio!
