Bryan Herta
A story on F1-live tells us that Herta is still looking for a CART ride:

Herta said the Wayne Taylor CART effort has fizzled. Patrick is the team he is referring to; if (big if) they find funding. Bryan also has a fair shot at working for Eddie Jordan, at least as a Friday Test Driver like Allan McNish at Renault. His Chutzpah impressed the self-described piranha club member.

Patrick wasnt able to get the second funding, and the funding they were working on would have been for another driver
What Chutzpah? That he wants to be a GP driver like everyone else? |

How many rounds are at Laguna Seca this year? (I think I should have said 'Mazda' in there somewhere...)

I hope Herta can pick up a ride somewhere. CWS needs more American drivers on the grid just to keep the home crowds happy!

Yeah - we need some more American based drivers, or at least drivers well known in the US. Herta, although he has never been an outstanding driver, is well recieved by the fans.

If he can't land a ride at Patrick, I doubt if he'll land a ride at all.

I guess he could wind up at Pollocks team if it's a two car operation, although one seems more likely doesnt it. I agree that there isn't a lot of chance of seeing him on the grid, but we can always hope

I think 'Cutzpah' is a Yiddish word meaning 'nerve' or 'cheek'. I think Vasser and Hunter-Reay are Stefan's priorities for American Spirit, but we'll see; Jimmy looks intent on pricing himself out of the market.
