Is there any significance to #88, being Harris' number from 2002?

More significant is the fact that Peter Gazzard is or used to be sponsored by a TV station, Channel 8 in SA somewhere i think.

Channel 8 is in Mt Gambier which is where Gazzard's car dealership Carlin & Gazzard is based.
Mr Gambier also happens to be home to Scott's Transport as well, which is a stunning coincidence |

Mr Gazzard sells near new Mercs and other expensive European cars, I doubt he has to worry where his next meal is coming from

Yep, that's him. He and Rick Bates shared the 'Peter Jackson Search For A Champion' Commodore at Bathurst in 1990. I think he was the guy that got to keep the car, but I'm not sure about that.

Pretty much what has been said here is correct, and he is an underated driver. His rally exploits in the trick Benz are not widely recognized.

In AA when reffering to this deal.
Pete coments something like, "Ive always wanted a full season in touring cars to see if Im as Good as I think I am ". Good On Ya Pete. All we need now is for these bloody Konica and Supercar seasons to kick off. Can some one Knock a few weeks out of the calendar and hurry it all up. |
