Bathurst race times
The last non-safety car spoilt 1000 was 1991, the race winning time of the Richards/Skaife GMS Nissan GTR was 6hrs 19mins.
If a current day 1000 went safety car free, say basing it on 2002 laptimes, what would the evntual race time be do you think? Could the 6hr mark be broken? |

Apsolutely... but we shall never know. Heck, even if they had magnets to remove cars form gravel traps, teams would complain because it would bugger up the computers
