V8 Fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Did HRT/KMR/TB cheat?????

From this mornings Herald Sun in Melbourne.
"But the TWR teams could still be in trouble over recent on-track testing, with two alleged breaches at Winton. The incidents involved FAILING to notify a test date and USING racing tyres from retired driver J.F."

They must be cheating. They're already on top of everything and had nothing to gain by cheating but because 2003 is The Year of Crying About HRT For No Good Reason Whatsoever they simply must be guilty as charged.

Seems to be problem reguarding the Team Brock franchise as well. Apparently Holden have 2 too many cars under their wing. That is besides the fact that Holden own any teams when they shouldn't.

did it say anything about changing numbers on the side of the car?
Now waiting to see if it goes before the stewards anytime soon.

Ah yes, the loophole you can drive a renumbered car through...from what I understand, there's no problem in using car 46's tyres as long as you use them on car 46 during a car 46 test day - right?

I don't know what the number should do with anything. If you go testing with a brand spankin new car that doesn't have and numbers stuck on the side, are you allowed to use tyres at all?

The fear I have, is that if TEGA does stick it up Holden for breaching the rules, could Holden take their bat and ball and go home altogether? That's the sort of thing that can bring the whole circus to its knees... time will tell, I suppose. But if they can sort out a new owner, everything will be rosey again...

I got into trouble once on here for using the word cheating and HRT in the one post, but it would seem it is now ok. By the interview Chan 10 did with Jeff Grech during the race it seemed he was under a bit of pressure. I think that HRT will find it a bit tough without TWR backing. Prodrive and FPR will be kicking arse by mid year.

I seriously doubt that Holden would withdraw from the series. Money already invested and poor publicity are just two reasons why Holden will stick it out. I wouldn't think that a rule-change would be impossible though....
