TeddyG should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Does anybody know if live audio for qualifying is available?

Any responces would be helpful? I know about formula1.com and F1-live but I'm talking about a radio broadcast or something similar.

Neither do I. I was thinking of streaming audio over the web.

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed.

Ask Red - he seems to be well up on computer oriented things.

Nope..

I believe that bbc does live audio, but not sure. I mean they DO, but not sure if Formula 1 related. Spend a couple of hours on google and you'll eventually get something. Actually I found live TV once, but 2-4 frames per second was not exactly what I was looking for. Which reminds me, try www.fosa.org (or it is .net? .com?)

Where can you get stuff on short wave?

I used to sit for hours trying to find something on the short wave, but all I could find was turkish folk music.

OK. I don't normally like to recommend another forum, but for those who find F1-Live insufficient, you could try Atlas F1's forum. You have to register for their forum, and log on early , well before quals, then log onto the chat which is better than F1-Live, as they give splits and is much faster in reporting the times. If you try to log onto the chat room during quals, it will be too busy and you won't get in.

Now this is funny indeed!!!!! If some of you want to see quals on-line TV, and don't mind hearing romanian comentary (you won't lose much; they're idiots anyway) they can check www.tvr.ro Then click on the "Romania 1 LIVE" Link, it's on left-top corner. Right now is the delayed quals session, but for the next GP you may try it live.

Okay thanks guys I'll check those sites out. Here in New Zealand we get the race on TV (ITV feed) but not qualifing. I was looking for some kind of live audio feed as right now I am just looking at sector times through formula1.com's live timing. BBC does have audio but they don't broadcast qualifing until one hour before the race, of course by then I already know what happened.

This is really surprising that I can't find anything on the net. I listen to many NHL hockey games online but don't understand why nothing for F1 can be found.
Guess Bernie must have the rights under lock and key

Nevertheless now that F1 has an official site perhaps they should think about introducing audio there as I am sure there are many people who would be interested. I would even be prepared to pay a small fee.
Hey if the NHL can do it why not F1???

Rij, they don't live-feed everything. (for example they are not allowed to broadcast movies). You may check for the rerun of the race in 2:20 hours from now on. (and be happy that you don't understand romanian. I knew that the 2 bozos are complete idiots, but today's comentary was by far the worse I've ever witnessed. It was so bad that it even broke my self defense mechanism - I very succesfully filter their voice apart from the engine's sound. Actually I even muted the TV dammit. )

Cougar, we have heard of infomercials. In past they (OK, not TV1; another TV station) actually missed the start of the race a couple of times because of them!!! (and proudly announced that the "only at their TV station we can see the replay of the start" sheese) But, surprisingly, both Oz and Malaysia did NOT have any of them!! I just hope that the trend continues!!
