H16 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Wasn't Chevy a bad choice for Doran/Bell?

Ford's DP engine is looked after by RYR under Ford guidence, Porsche is from Porsche N/A, Toyota is from TRD, and BMW, I think, is PTG.

Then there is the Chevy, which seems to have no factory help at all. The troubles of the car so far seem to be engine releated, and it seems like a weird choice to go with the Chevy motor.

Shouln't the Chevy be a fairly proven motor though. It's not like it was dreamt up yesterday

I think the Chevy motor has been having problems because they can't get enough cool air into the engine compartment and it's overheating as a result. If Doran (and the other DP teams for that matter) can figure out a way to overcome the cooling difficulties inherent in the heavily restricted DP design, the Chevy V8 will likely prove to be one of strongest in the field.
