BCN out of next rounds?

this is a textual extract from an interview to enrique scalabroni (BCN owner) in argentina.

"Nuestro equipo tiene graves problemas y estamos analizando si continuar compitiendo este año o dejar de hacerlo momentáneamente"

"our team have big problems and we are thinking if continue compiting this year or left it by a time"

so, it appears a crucial moment for 3000, both international and euro. the union is the only way to save the category with a new class B for old chasis included.

All that would do is bolster the grid! This is a one-make championship for a reason, and that reason would be lost with class B.

If EURO F3000 would merge with FIA F3000 they would all have to upgrade equipment in my opinion, so this is only a dream!

i agree about the idea of having a class b to f3000, it worked with f3. it'd bring more people into the series.
the whole point is to bolster the grid. it's hardly worth bothering with the number of drivers in at the moment.

what's the speed difference between the old and the new chassis?

Something has to be done to bolster the grid. 15 cars would be silly, nowhere near enough to give any kind of competitive series. A lot of the best young talent isn't in F3000 anyway, espcecially now whe've lost Paffett and Kerr.

I agree that since he has started the season, he should ideally also continue. I'm not a big fan of substituting drivers during the season.

Any news as to why he's been kicked out of the team?
