Lister Withdraws.
Lister has withdrawn its LMP 900 storm from the 24 Hours of Le Mans because of a big accident during qualifying during which Jamie Campbell-Walter was banged up pretty good.

Ahhhh, that's a shame. Although the car wasn't particularly fast in qualifying, it set a pretty respectable time. And after seeing them at Sebring for all of 5 minutes, I was really hoping they could do well on the world stage this weekend. Unfortunate...
So does this mean the Taurus Lola will get the start this weekend? Will they start from the back of the grid? -Jeremy |

And sorry, the entry is definitely closed : that means that we'll have only 49 cars on the grid ; the substitutes were there to replace withdrawings before the 1th June - it's much too late... See you next year, Lister... |

Lister have no luck at all these days. Fortunately, Jamie Campbell-Walter is OK.

I would like to see the Lister Storm 900 Prototype here in the states competing in the ALMS series.

Difficult you have it. Lister hasn´t to spend many money in ALMS, and they have to run also in FIA GT.

Was a very large accident.. JCW a very lucky chap.. Interesting to note that a tyre wall was quickly erected along the barrier which he hit!

The Lister hit the barrier just as we made our way past and I can confirm it was a very big hit that caused the armco to be pushed back.
JCW was indeed a very luck guy. Any news on what caused it? |

There was oil on the track (on the racing line), JCW tried to avoid it, the car bottomed out on some bumps, JCW lost it under braking, and whooppee.
