Miami... GP Poster ?????

hmm...???? Romero Britto, a neo-Pop style artist and South Florida icon and Chuck Martinez, president and general manager of Grand Prix Americas, unveiled Britto’s design of the official Grand Prix Americas poster for 2003... but where is the Champ or ALMS car...?!

Do you see the road with flowers on it? It looks like an OW racing car is driving on it toward us, but I can't tell what type of OW racing car it is.

I think watching the paint dry on that poster is going to be more exciting than the race itself.

It's a different layout this year, looks like there'll be at least one passing spot...perhaps more for the brave. Keep an open mind til you see the race...

Looking at that poster, it seems to be an ad for a street party instead of an auto race. The race appears to be a secondary thought and the party the real event.

Maybe thats the intent though, throw a great party in a great party town, and then give them a race to watch, and who knows, your bound to make some new fans.

Just a thought, because who really knows what artists are thinking about.

I hate to say it, but the car on that flowery little road looks like an IRL car.

the whole purpose for miami is for a street party, if racing was ever a consideration we never would've been treated to the 1.5 mile course that we were.

What the hell kind of poster is that! It doesn't look like a Champ Car and it doesn't make me think of racing or speed or powerful engines or the smell of burnt fuel or beer or ladies or anything else I like about Champ Car races.

BTW- who are they targeting with the poster? I know this year for the Gold Coast round, there are flaming cars on the poster, and the Tv ads have flaming cars and grid girls.

Are they having a flower convention and tea party with the race meeitng?

That's one more than Monaco

I'm not going to comment on the poster, it's an add for some kind of a flower show...is there a flower show beside the track?
