the_tsar should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Daniel Buxton

Did Buxton finish race one at Croft? I thought he did. Then how come he didn't score in the indy cup? It's probably been discussed already but i didn't see it. Can anyone shead some light on this?

He finished 11th overall and 4th in the Independants Cup so he should of scored. Unless he's subject to some sort of strange rule but I would of doubted it..

..I dont think VLR would waste his time on a driver that cant score points...shame if this is true anyway.

they had that rule before where a third driver couldnt score points i.e Sutcliffe in 2001 couldnt after Luby and Erdos drove the same car but Buxton is only the 2nd to. oh i dont know

Both of them were registered at the start of the year so maybe that it?

maybe he's not allowed to score points in both the clio cup and the BTCC?

No reason why you can't score BTCC and Clio Cup points, they're 2 seperate championship. Same a Thompson scoring British Rally Championship points.

Breeze was an existing Indie Cup entry so the change of car/team didn't matter. Wallace was registered for the Production championship at the start of the year but had to re-register for the Indie Cup. Wallace, along with Richard Marsh and Jason Hughes were listed as late registrations at least a week before Croft.

Buxton on the other hand was only entered a few days before the event. It's possible he wasn't registered in time and was classed as a guest (non-points scoring) entry. Then again it could be an admin error. Either way I suspect he will be elligable for points from Snetterton onwards.
