Blue-eyed Devil should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Panoz driver line up for Miami (ALMS)

Anyone got an idea why Ben Leuenberger isn't driving this weekend? Can't find anything on it anywhere at all...

They've been rotating between Max Papis, Scott Maxwell and Ben all season. Ben is back in the car for PLM. I don't know why they chose the races the way they did.

I know they've been rotating, I was just confused because Ben said after missing last race that he and Gunnar "will have another go at the next race", so I wondered if getting Maxwell to drive for Miami was a sudden decision of sorts.

Scott told me that he was originally slated to do Laguna, not Miami, and that the races were swapped for some reason. So Ben must have been under a mistaken impression if he thought that when he got to race at Laguna he also retained the seat for Miami.

That, sad to say, is the way it has been with JML. The other three have been locked into the seats all year for various reasons, and Max seems to be on the outs with JML (I think his jump to PK Racing has something to do with that; I don't know if his seat at PLM is safe, either).

Well, Max has a bit of a confusing season. ASCAR, CART, ALSM, IRL... Sounds like he's trying to break a record how many series one driver can race in during a single season.

Thanks for clearing up the Scott/Ben issue!
