Tobacco advertising at Indy

Can anyone tell me why Ferrari weren't running their Marlboro sponsor livery this weekend?

West, Mild Seven, B&H etc all ran their full colours.

Because US tobacco regulations allow the companies to only sponsor one team/athlete per sport....Marlboro also sponsors Penske, so Ferrrari are asked to remove their sponsorhip for the race...not much of a problem really, everyone konws what go in the blank spots

did anyone notice by the end of the race the marlboro was starting to show on the rear wing by the end of the race? was the paint coming off or was it a white decal covering up the marlboro?

The real question is why wasn't the US GP replaced by the Easter Islands GP?

BAR didn't run Lucky Strike. Who does Lucky Strike sponsor in the US?

Players and Lucky Strike are owned by the same parent company in the US(BAT). They also bought the parent company of KOOLlast year, which is why KOOL-Green folded at the end of last year.
