Rain is affecting the Sunday's opening stages...and Solberg is on a charge, 8th after SS18.

Great recovery from Petter while Sainz and Loeb lost ground on the final day mean there's just one point in it prior to the rally of Great Britain! Petter has a great chance of being crowned World Champion - go Petter!

1. S LOEB 63 Pts
2. C SAINZ 63 Pts 3. P SOLBERG 62 Pts 4. R BURNS 58 Pts It's a right old cliff hanger, although the points system the FIA uses these days shows its flaws even worse than in F1! How is Burns still in the fight? And Solberg is a little lucky as well. Go Citroen! (tall order now though). |

It's got to be Petter all the way - who else beside me can see a multiple World Champion of the future in him?

Solberg will either win the title or crash out of the rally. If Solberg doesn't win I think Sainz will take the title (but not the rally win). I don't see Loeb finishing ahead of those two unless they hit trouble.

Loeb lost the title in the last rally . a rally he should have won .. and already be World Champion .. but hey ... it's UK .. who knows . anything could happen .. I think the pug of Gronholm coulkd be the title decider .. if he wins the rally Loen needs a third to be sure . or at least be just behind Solberg .. but Sainz needs to be in front of Solberg ...
I'm still putting my money on Loeb . but i'm not gonna risk to much money |

Petter has a great chance. And the Subarus like the Welsh mud. Having said that, the Peugeot was blisteringly quick last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if Burnsy won the rally. Loeb has suprised us on loose surface events already this season, so I suppose he could do again.
But my money's on Carlos. It's time he had some good luck in Wales. |

What a great event, managed to see shakedown, scrutineering, the start,5 stages and the finish.the atmosphere was incedible, especially when i pulled out my huge Scotlnd flag under the bridge at the doughnut hairpin,3000 Spaniards gave me plenty of **** for it!nightlife was great with official rallybars(where i tried to get a very ****ed British 1600 driver in,to no avail). All in,1 week in Spain, half board hotel, hire car and lots of drinking money and all the Rallying = 410 pounds.lovely tan aswell, liver must be a bit white though!
