I've been told about the plans of several drivers in the past couple of months, but I'm always made to promise that I won't tell! Sorry

There's loads of people testing F3000 cars, but that doesn't really mean anything. For example, Half-Nelson Piquet has been (or will) test for Arden (I think), but I've heard that he's definitely doing a second season in British F3 (he wants to win it!), and he's only doing the test in F3000 to give him experience of a faster car before he gets a F1 test that Frank Williams has promised his dad!
I reckon it's too early to tell. Everyone seems to be teting for everyone at the moment! |

Isn't Jamie Green looking at German F3 because of Mercedes connections?

Are Mercedes even going to let people race next year? If you dont let people go to Macau might as well keep your cars dust free in the shop all year.

Good point Russfeld. However, they will have both Green and Lewis Hamilton to put somewhere.
The talk seems to be on Green going to ASM and Hamilton staying with Manor (I admit, that'd also be my personal preference) |

MK broke a couple of wings a Donington, on his return with Carlin. Never mind he has a big sponsor behind him who will pick up the bill, Ibstock Brick

And the fact that he places nearly all his earnings into funding himslf and also all his promo work is paid to the west cork racing club who are backing him also.. Hope he gets a good 3000 ride though cuz think could do pretty well in the right team!!

We'lllet you away with comments like that the next time you ever compete your ass in any catagory including British f3 or higher Mr Dangerous.. You sound the more hazardous to me with a name like that!!! So i guess takuma sato aint got no talent either considering his history of take outs!! and that includes team mates too!!!!

One F3 driver thats definitely moving on is Olivier Pla:

Michael Keohane finished his rookie Champcar test with the Dale Coyne team at Sebring (I think on the shorter version of the track)
http://www.cart.com/News/Article.asp?ID=7393 At the same time Danilo Dirani -who is already Brazilian F3 Champion with two races to go- said that he is definitely moving to Europe for 2004 and he has three options: F3 Euroseries, British F3 and the Nissan (which I would rather not call "World Series" since it doesn't leave Europe at all) By the way Danilo was runner-up to Piquet Jr. in 2002 and if you thought that the Brazilian F3 series won't see a more dominant champion than Piquet Jr. in a while you was wrong then.Danilo already set Piquest Jr's record 13 victory in one season and only has to score 14 points during the remaining two races to beat Piquest Jr's record 296 points. |

Oops I was wrong the rely on speedsportsmag that claims that the final round of Sudam F3 is going to be on next weekend. In fact it was last weekend and Dirani broke Piquet Jr's record with 14 victories and 317 points, the most dominant South-American F3 champion in the history of the category.

yes Mekola,I don't know why did i write "Brazilian" champion in my first post when it's clearly the South- American championship. But I think -at least in the previous years- South-American championship included the Brazlian championship as well, since the Brazilian races formed an extra championship in the championship. So just for the record Dirani is South-American and Brazilian champion of F3 and he is Brazilian too

Spanish F3 champion Ricardo Maurico will test the ETCC champion Alfa-Romeo of Autodelta on the circuit of Adria on next wednesday.Apart from his many single-seater races, he only raced once: with a Porsche in the 500km of Interlagos but he says ETCC is definitely one of the options for 2004 (the other option is obviously Nissan V6 with Racing Engineering in case Leinders or Sarrazin would leave the team)

- German F3 Cup winner Joao Pablo de Oliveira will probably spend 2004 in Japan developing the F3 chasse of Lola-Dome and racing in Formula Nippon
- Japanese F3 champion will race for Team LeMans in Formula Nippon and in All-Japan GT championship - TOM's Toyota offered Japanese F3 seats for Fabio Carbone and Robert Kubica |
