Super 2000 all the way

So it really seems that Super2000 regulations are going to become the dominant ones in Europe. Which are the championships in which Super 2000 rules will be employed in 2004? And what do you think of it?

We've been getting some of the ETC rounds on TV over here in the last few days. Have to say i enjoyed it, the cars moved around, it had close racing, about the only thing wrong with it was the highlights package. (they crammed 2 Formula Renault races, 2 ETC races, an FIA GT race, and two Renault Clio races into 1 hour highlights of each round), still better than nothing.

Has the equalising system been determined for next years BTCC, to even up BTC Touring and Super 2000?

Not yet, but I'm sure we will get the details quite soon.

BSTR should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Finnish touring car championship series (named Super 2000 Race) is about to adopt Super 2000 regulations in 2004 also. Older cars based loosely on Super Production regulations will be in the same grid (just like BTCC-T and BTCC-P used to be).

I don't think Macau is going to adpot Super2000 rules for 2004. A man from Alfa team told me that Macau would still be using Superproduction rules for 2004, in 2005 Macau GP will become one of the GP event of World Touring Car championship.

super2000 is really a great set- do to not being all together was the 97-99 BTCC run on super 2000?
although slower the superproduction rules in SpeedTouring cars, has made some fantastic racing- i just like big wings on the rear of tourers

Marcello Lotti was at Macau because of Super 2000 rules. But I'll try to discover more about that ....

Finland, too is adopting the Super 2000 regulations for next season, replacing the old DTC/Production class ones.

Probably Italian Super Production will switch to Super2000, in 2004 two Classes: Super P and Super2000, in 2005 Super2000 only

I'm not sure

GP Macau 2004 could be a MIX of Super-Production and Super-2000 cars because Asian Touring Car Championship will switch to Super2000 too.
