2004 Racing Season

Just wondering what races everyone is planning on attending this season? I am definately doing Cleveland and Las Vegas....other than that I don't know right now!

Most likely the Toronto GP. If I have enough money I wouldn't mind going to Montreal and hopefully in a few years I'll fly or drive down to Cleveland to see a race....it's supposed to be a good one!

My loving girlfrined bought me tickets for the Toronto race for the second year in succession. Last year, we were located on the backside of the track. This year, she purchased grandstand tickets over looking the pits and PIT passess as well. I dropped subtle hints about Dodge Corner, but they were too pricey. Thanks to my girlfriend for an awesome present. Can't wait until July.

Long Beach, Las Vegas, Laguna Seca and Fontana....if they race at the latter two.

I'd like to think that I could make it to Vegas. I've got family there and it would be a howl. They'd have to move the date back to Sept or Oct though, otherwise I could never get a week off work. Alas, probably a pipedream anyway. I never seem to have the money.

Toronto and Cleveland are both pretty close to me, about 3 hours or so. So hopefully I can make it to one of 'em, more likely TO.

(Unless, of course, the Stones come back to Downsview!)

Rock on MacDaddy!
can't remember how to do the beer thing

I won'[t be going to any, but I'll be up at all hours of the night and early morning watching on Tv. Even upgraded my old PC at work to listen to the Cart.com commentary

If anyone comes to Cleveland or goes to the Vegas race let me know so we can meet up! And mac there was some speculation about moving the Vegas race to the last event of the season so hopefully you can go to that. If they move it back that far I would love it also so I can get off work and I can have enough time to save money for it!

I went to Montreal last year, enjoyed it, and am thinking of going to Toronto this year. With the races being so far away for me, I'd only go to ones where I can spend a week or so doing touristy things. It doesn't make much sense to travel so far just for a weekend. Racing's a great excuse to see more of the world

Well Flatspot since you won't be in Cleveland for that race I guess you will have to meet this good soul in Las Vegas!! I was at Denver last year for my birthday and I would love to go to Laguna Seca this year but seeing as I don't have my "connection" I won't be going.

I look forward to it Sue. This years schedule as it is currently planned works out very, very, well for me. Once a month within a days drive works well and these races all are except for Montreal and by coincidence I somehow often end up with business in the upstate New York that puts me within a couple hours of the track on either a CART of F1 weekend. Somehow my wife thinks its far from a coincidence. I wonder why?

How strange that is to have a race so close to a business trip?? Coincidence....I think not!! LOL If Mid Ohio gets added to this season I will probably do that one as well
